Fish and Wild Rice Inspire the Next Generation of Great Lakes Leaders

Teachers with a passion for the Great Lakes are sharing their expertise with other teachers across the region in a program that benefits both educators and their students. The mentor program, organized by Sea Grant’s Center for Great Lakes Literacy, is funded through the GLRI. One Wisconsin Sea Grant mentor worked with her mentees to provide opportunities for their students to help raise brown trout and wild rice to increase their interest in the Great Lakes.
