Meet Ruth and Dan Boerst of Manawa, Wisconsin, who farm with soil health practices to help mitigate the effects of food insecurity in their rural American town. They partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service through GLRI to implement a variety of soil health and conservation practices to heal their land. The conservation practices help prepare the soil to be in the best condition to grow produce for the local community.
